We were all waiting for Tejedor´s newalbum…
… and there it is, Llunáticos, a record you will fall in love with.

Llunáticos is for all tastes: for dreamers, for music lovers, for the folk universe, for everybody.

Llunáticos is the second studio recording of the fantastic Asturian band Tejedor lead by the superb bagpiper José Manuel with his brother and sister. Llunáticos will be in music shops from the beginning of June 2003 and will be released by Asturian label Aris Música and distributed by Ediciones Resistencia all over Spain.

Tejedor became successful with their first album called Texedores de Suaños and we are sure that the same thing will happen with this new one.

José Manuel and Javier Tejedor together with Cesar Ibarretxe are responsible for this high quality production.

Llunáticos means a step forward for self management & organization. Tejedor reflects quality, heavy work, talent, magic and accuracy. 12 new songs that will delight everyone because of it´s varied style, it´s brilliand sound as well as it´s wonderful perfomance.

Marvellous musicians whose musical backround is to be found in the rich Asturian traditions, Tejedor shows it´s musical personality in every single concert. Asturian bagpipes and flutes played by perhaps the best Asturian bappiper in recent years, José Manuel Tejedor; accordions, flutes and percussion played by multiinstrumentalist Javier Tejedor; and Eva Tejedor adding her personal voice and artistic feeling in 3 songs. And besides we must add the marvellous and deeply moved string arrangements, , a high quality asturian rhythmic base, electronic programming, the tribal sounds of alboka, txalaparta , zanfona and a large assorted of rich sonorousness, which help in this unique work of asturian music, world music and folk made by Tejedor.

Llunáticos was recorded at Elkar studios in San Sebastian between March and April 2003. Among other musicians that participated in the recording we should mention Kepa Junquera, Igor Medio, Fernando Arias, Horacio A. Garcia, Oreka TX, Xabier Zeberio, Alos Quartet, Ramón Prada, Ramón G. Morán, Merce Santos, James MacKintosh, Ibon Koteron, Lisardo Lombardía, etc.

We are dearly looking at a record directly influenced by the moon

Muñeires d´Avilés

The simplicity of this song and Eva Tejedor´s voice go straight to the heart. Beautiful lyrics by Lisardo Lombardia and melody written by José Manuel and Javier Tejedor.
